It’s widely believed that when you want to influence Congress, making phone calls is second only to personal visits, and you’re one of the influencers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To celebrate our callers, Citizen Climate Lobby\u2019s Austin chapter has been conducting a random drawing at each of its monthly meetings to honor an MCC caller as <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Caller of the Month<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The honor comes with a small prize \u2014a gift certificate for Amy\u2019s Ice Creams\u2014 as a token of our appreciation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Everyone who reported making a call in December is entered in the January drawing. Callers who made two or three calls get two or three entries. Because the MCC is now over<\/a>, this drawing will be the final one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The January meeting will be virtual<\/a>, and it will start at around 12:45 pm (after the CCL national call<\/a>, which begins at noon) on Saturday, January 14.
